People need allotments to keep them connected to the land and to the wildlife. Build somewhere else.

Why take people's allotments, on these tough times it's even more important we grow locally and try and feed ourselves sustainably

the Tory governments national planning policy changes have created a developers charter which has put the council in a difficult place when trying to save sites from development. We need housing, but we desperately need allotments too. The allotment strategy I initiated, and developed by allotmenteers celebrates the value of allotments and will help in defence to this proposal. Good luck!

allotments can't just be moved to suit the whim of developers. Craven Vale allotments give a quality of life to the community. Bricks and mortar can go elsewhere
