Would much rather preserve public greenspace—preserving this historic site and making it available to the public aligns with county needs. For those who want to sell it for housing, I ask would it even be affordable housing? All these new developments being built are priced at $300,000 and up—far beyond the reach of most families in our community.

If sold what will you do with the money. whatever you buy or use it for will just go out od date or become obsolete. Land and land with water never goes out of date.

Get rid of the building and keep the land. It should be a park. It was given to the county for public use.

As open space disappears to housing and land prices rise, a piece of land this size will become harder to acquire. Keep it in the public folder

Unity cannot force people to stay who are in a voluntary program. They WILL be out in our neighborhoods.

This is a fantastic opportunity to preserve some greenspace in Washington County. The need for greenspace will not go away and preserving this historic site and making it available to the public aligns perfectly with the initiative to make the community a more attractive place to live.
