Saved Cougar Mountain!

I father along with other activists spent years fighting to protect Cougar Mountain. The fight must continue.

We have enough development not everywhere needs to be an urban city.

Leave it alone!! Us humans are horrible. Not all but most

Please don't let continued overdevelopment ruin this local gem that we all use and love and need.

Please do not cut the forest! Protect our community against landslides!

I was extremely saddened to hear of the proposed development in Cougar Mountain. Places like Cougar Mountain are why people like me love Issaquah and spend almost every weekend in and around Issaquah. As a conservation scientist and outdoor enthusiast I adamantly oppose this proposal and hope the Issaquah City Council sees the immense value for people, nature and the economy in keeping Cougar Mountain as a shared open space for its residents.

Cougar mountain is a treasure - please help protect it from development!!

Please leave our forested hillsides for their beauty for all including our wildlife. There will be slides if you remove trees and put in more homes. Enough is enough here! No infrastructure. Quit appeasing the developers and think about quality of life!

This is my home, and I’ve seen it change so much already in the 20 years since I moved to Cougar Mountain. Please protect what is left of the natural parts of it. The reason it is a beautiful place to live is because of the wild spaces. We don’t need more McMansions here please!

As a 10 year Seattle resident and monthly, if not weekly, train runner in the area, please keep the land as is!

Cougar mountain offers year round recreational opportunities for families and would be a detrimental loss to the area, should it be converted to residential properties.

I fully support this effort. We must preserve this space for future generations.

PLEASE leave Cougar Mountain as is! Please stop this before there is no more land in Issaquah. We moved onto Cougar Mountain in 2011 and the amount of traffic in the area has increased WAY TOO MUCH! There are so many beautiful trails and this area needs to be kept natural.

Please protect the forested to the Issaquah Alps; Bergsma/Windward Cougar Mountain hillside from development

Can nobody in power see what overdevelopment is doing to the eastside?? Is everyone in the pocket of the developers? Please, someone step up and put a stop to this before the entire eastside is gutted, and it becomes unliveable AND undriveable.

This area is TOO steep and wet to effectively make into a residential (or commerical) development. Further, NO MITIGATION for the effect on Newport Way traffic is mentioned in the development application or planning. No impact statement on fire or police coverage is mentioned or paid for. No impact on school crowding is mentioned or paid for.
