Cougar Mountain must be saved from further development, as it is an important wildlife habitat and wildlife corridor. It contains two wetlands, has steep, landslide prone slopes, which would be destabilized by removing vegetation and regrading. We do not need a repeat of the Oso disastrous tragedy.

I remember going to school for 9 years and passing cougar mountain on the way there. There was winding trees and lots of moss and nothing really else like it on my school commute. If Cougar Mountain is replaced with buildings, I'd miss it greatly

This is too important for recreation to put development here. Roy

I have always loved Issaquah because it is covered in trees. It saddens me to see the large swaths of cleared areas, because this beautiful area then loses what makes it special. We need to make sure we are not destroying in our quest to make it our home.

Please keep our outdoors wild and green. We have so little forest left in Issaquah that taking more down would be a real shame.

Build up density on the valley floor and leave the hillside alone.

This land is so essential to the biodiversity of this region, which we humans are a part of. It's on us to protect this beautiful and important space.

Thank you Save Cougar Mountain! Issaquah is clearing losing it's focus with allowing all the building and clear cutting (like California) of the Highlands and Talus. The "Issaquah" Alps are vital to our ecology and aesthetics of our life styles .

Please save our natural rainforest areas and wildlife habitats. We are running out of room for wildlife! It is our responsibility to save and take care of them and their homes.

Please save Cougar Mountain. Issaquah cannot handle any more people and their cars.

Leave Cougar Mountain alone! It already has enough encroaching housing developments. It doesn't need any more. This mountain is a critical spot for outdoor recreation and a vital area for native wildlife. Don't turn it into a wasteland of development.

There is so much beauty and incredible history on this mountain - please don't take that away from us and the wildlife living there.
