My dad worked there for 30 years. You cant just shut it down and expect the area to be fine. Keep it running.
so many jobs at stake here. really hope the government wakes up before it is too late for the boys down there.
Total madness. Keep the refinery open or at least look for a buyer who wants to keep the staff on.
dont let the lights go out at coryton.

The UK needs to be able to refine its own fuel. relying on imports is stupid and dangerous.
