Having myself gone to this youth club many years ago, I now thank my son, who fully enjoys his time there. This youth club hold many happy memories of my teenage years. I hope my son will one day feel the same and end up dropping his children off at this youth club.

It would be would be a great loss if the children of the community lost their youth club. There isn't much else that is in walking distance for them to be able to walk to on their own.

This youth club gives a place for kids to go so please save it. I use to go there when I was younger.

i want to show my support for our youth club and also because my child goes to Brightsparks. They will be nothing left for our children in the future otherwise.

Very important for children to be able to meet and socialise locally - especially with a lack of evening buses precluding travel!

Stop the rot! We pay more and more in taxation and are getting less and less for it!

This has been part of my life for at least 40 years. I used it, my kids used it and no doubt their kids will need somewhere safe to develop their social skills away from School and the xbox. Closing this would be a BIG mistake!

My friends and I met here twice a week religiously for several years after school, more so in the winter evenings it was the ONLY place available to us. It's a vital part of the community for the local children and there is no other facility like it in the area.

Very shortsighted, it would cost a lot more to deal with lots of bored teenagers in the area.

What could be more important, giving our youth and next generation a chance to be off the streets and building a foundation for their future and enjoying recreation or bowing to the cost cutting mania of our duly elected councillors.

Please don't close this, young people are already bored enough already without this being taken away too. As somebody already said we already have a substandard bus service so they are stuck for options, so to take this away as well will just be really unfair on them. It is nice to know they are somewhere safe for that period of time, rather than just hanging around the local parks.

i went to this youth centre over 30 years ago and my daughters now go there
Closing this makes no sense when there is hardly anywhere for teenagers to go
Perhaps they should all go to the pub and start drinking early instead that would cost the council more in the long run
