My daughter loves youth club, it is the only activity outside of school she enjoys. It would be a shame for her and the other youngsters if this was closed as there is very little else for them to do in the village.

Please keep the youth centre open in Corfe Mullen. There is very little to do in the village and it's a much needed place for children to go. In addition, my daughter attends the nursery before and after school. This is imperative for those of us that work and need safe childcare.

Such an important part of the local community - I used it a lot throughout my childhood... Would be such a shame to see it go!

This youth centre has been a centre of the community for many years. now my eldest child is just about to join and cannot wait. How do we tell him and his friends that the thing they have been looking forward to may be going. This place gives them safe independence. Also I use the current nursery here for before school childcare for my girls and they have been so happy there.

This is so wrong. Today's children are the future of this country. It is imperative that the kids have every opportunity to experience different things, it changed me as a person growing up knowing there was a place I could go. Kids today will simply hang around the streets and get into trouble. I urge the local council to look hard at this and reconsider there decision

every village needs a youth centre and corfe Mullen being one of the largest villages in Dorset it makes sense , growing up myself in corfe Mullen youth club was the hub for us youngest and I have very fond memories and was a save haven for many ! It needs to be saved after all the children are the future .

The Youth Centre is a vital support service for many young people. The club provides excellent care and facilities, please keep it open. The day nursery provides wonderful care to many local, hard-working families and any cost cutting measures would hit my family hard!

My granddaughters use the Youth Centre regularly and thoroughly enjoy the social aspect. My own sons were keen supporters when they were at school and it would be a great shame if the youth if Corfe Mullen were deprived of the facility.

This youth centre had a huge influence on mine and my friends childhoods- have us somewhere to hang out that wasn't on the streets or clogging up our parents houses. Amazing place.

there is little enough for the youngsters of Corfe Mullen as it is. What idiot wants to remove a well attended youth club !!!!!

This is a vitally important part of the community and it is very short sighted to close this facility. It is a conduit between the youth and adult community. It focuses on positive relations between the two groups. It can also highlight any problems in the area with groups of wayward children. And also protect children from abuse etc and give them a break from home.

At this current point in time there are very few options for the youth of corfe Mullen, by closing the youth centre these choices will be limited further and may lead to an increase in antisocial behaviour.
