We need parks that can be used by the whole community. The marina is only for the few!! More people taking advantage of Concird Park, mean more votes for those who care fir the community. We will not forget!

Concord park should remain the lovely green space that it is for the enjoyment of everyone and preservation of the ecosystem, not sold out for money. We need more green space, quiet, and parks - not less.

Please, help us save this wildlife heaven. I walk my dog 4 times/week. I see regularly waterfowls, turtles, deer, foxes, snakes, birds of pray.

Knox County parks, Concord Park included, is vital for the health and well being of the citizens and wild life living in Knox County. green space needs to be preserved.

Is money more important than the residents and wildlife at concord? Is money more important to you than other peoples enjoyment of life. Traffic will be horrendous. Animals cannot get water, rare animals and many turtles will die. A place where the people go to gather, walk their dogs, run, walk and picnic will be no longer. Too much boat traffic. Already impossible to drive your boat on main channel around concord. Waves are huge. Unable to kayak or ski. Absolutely taking everything pleasant away from the residents and others in Knoxville. Would you be so eager to do this if it effected you.

This erosion of quiet green space is short-sighted sellout for West Knox/Concord community. Preserving this space increases not only real estate value but community and health value more than another marina. https://theenergymix.com/2021/03/25/wild-spaces-left-undeveloped-have-higher-dollar-value-scientists-calculate/ I have added link to one study - among many - that speaks to absolute value of undeveloped space. The wildlife listed in this petition adds more than colorful anecdote to our community. It adds memory for children growing up knowing that there are albino skunks and other living things that a community rose up to keep instead of selling what makes it unique for another boat slip. Thanks to the Mr. Seaver for authoring this petition.
