Concussions are serious but much more serious with football, where players tackle headfirst and have a false sense of security due to their helmet. I see your school still has a football team. Clearly you are not as concerned about concussions as you claim to be. In rugby, players and coaches take concussions seriously. They protect themselves, tackle in ways to avoid head injuries, and take time out when a concussion occurs (which is somewhat rarely, actually). Do not deprive these college students, who pay an exorbitant amount of money to attend your school, lose out on the best sport around just because you are attempting to cut your budget.

Rugby was a life changing sport for me, I know it is for other people as well. don't remove this program from your school.
