I always loved watching friends play rugby during my years at Colby. It brought together amazing comradery between students that often didn't play other sports. It would be a terrible shame to lose Cobly Rugby.

I played for Bryn Mawr College, and went through the same struggle to keep a team that has made an enormous positive impact on all the students involved. It's a growing sport in this country, and taking away the opportunity for students to learn and play rugby is a detriment to the school's non-academic offerings.

Andy Palmer Bowdoin '88 - this is a travesty - compared to football and hockey, the per participant cost of rugby is < 10% of those sports - and the values and character of rugby as a club sport are consistent with the spirit of a liberal arts education - this is a big mistake on the part of administrators
