Rugby is safer than football and nearly every other team sport. It provides unique opportunities for men and women to learn teamwork and cohesion. It's the fastest growing team sport in the US. Colby students should not miss out.

The administration needs to know it is about so much more than just the game.

Some great athletes have come out of Colby. I suggest mending the problems and teaching value vs cutting and running.

Rugby is a great sport, and doesn't deserve being cut for no reason.

I started playing rugby because my Dad played at Colby. Many of the great things going on in my life are because of rugby.

The incidence of concussion and other serious injuries in rugby is statistically lower than many other contact sports. This was verified in a study completed by the US Army originally which was how I convicned my Battalion Commander to let me (then a young Lieutenant) to start a team at our base in Germany.

The Colby College Administration needs to improve their transparency and justify their reasons to the students.
