get real, if you're worried about safety risks pull the plug on the football program. That would be a radical statement and would put Colby ahead of the curve nationally. a ton of money would be freed up for another new fancy building too. A win-win.

It is one of the few sports with World appeal and engenders camaraderie and lifelong friendships among a diverse group or people from every walk of life I have imagined. Look to South Africa and the example it set for that nation. Keep the sport alive.

Rugby is one of the fastest growing and most empowering women's sport at the collegiate level that offers its athletes of all shapes and sizes. For a liberal arts college that prides itself on breadth and depth this is an outrage and particularly a disgrace to those who have worked so hard to bring the spirit of sportsmanship and teamwork to the masses and break down stereotypes and gender biases. Please revoke your decision. Sincerely, Angry Babe in the Brawl xo

Rugby is a fantastic sport that knits closer bonds than any other sport I've ever been involved in. Most sports involve injury concerns, but proper rugby technique is all about protecting yourself and fellow players. It would be a shame to see Colby Rugby fade over a lack of understanding about what it's all about.
