Sergio was a positive influence on my 2 sons Anthony and Gianni Doemeny who attended Tory Pines almost 20 years ago. When we occasionally see Sergio he still recognizes and ask about us by name. He deserves our support!

Coach Sergio has left a lifelong impression on me and has impressed upon me a lifelong love of sports and fitness. In my 20 years since being lucky enough to have Sergio as a coach, I have never forgotten the principles and attitude he brought to athletics and I have done my best to pass those along to any teams I have coached, Yoga students I have taught, and more.
The value Sergio has had on TPES’s students is invaluable and I hope that he is given the opportunity to continue doing so!

Sergio is easily the most well liked educator that I have ever met. Sergio has a remarkable knack for connecting with individuals of all ages , but specifically the way he works with students is nothing short of inspiring. Torrey Pines. the YMCA and the community are so lucky to have a dedicated, experienced and well rounded educator. You're the best Sergio!

Sergio is a truly amazing human. I was fortunate to work with him at the YMCA for 8 years and he truly puts his whole heart and soul into helping others. The kids and families at Torrey Pines and in the La Jolla area are so fortunate to have him and hopefully can keep him as a coach and mentor!

Coach Sergio is the most qualified P.E. Teacher that you can find. He has so many years of experience working with kids and no one can do it better then he can. His knowledge of all sports and drills make him go above and beyond. Aside from his knowledge and experience he has made so many positive impacts on kids that many years later they still come and see him. He is never late to work and he never calls out. I hope that the right decision will be made.

I worked with Sergio for 21 years and he is a part of the TPES family!! Who ever is trying to oust him needs to have their head examined. You do what ever it takes to keep him at TPES.
