Coach Sergio has been such an incredible P.E. teacher, and he’s so good with the kids. The kids truly love and enjoy their lessons with him. I am honored to have been his colleague since I joined Torrey Pines, and I look forward to many more years to come.

Coach Sergio was one of my favorite teachers, and although I went to tpes only for an year, I can certainly tell that his class was joyful which made school life more enjoyable

When we moved to La Jolla Coach Sergio was amazing at making our kids feel welcome. He is a gem! I truly hope that he gets to stay on.

i have known coach sergio for about 11 years and he has taught me everything and pushed me into running. my parents have known him and are so thankful to have had him be my coach for 6 years. coach sergio is nothing but a courageous, kind, and a mentor that everyone should have.

My son doesn’t even go to TPES anymore, but I know what an amazing person Sergio is and the positive influence he had over my son and all the children at Torrey Pines. I hope every child gets the same opportunity to be taught health and physical activity in such a fun and interactive way. He’s really a gem of a teacher. TPES needs to do everything possible to keep him on.

Being new to the school Coach Sergio had already become loved by myself snd my kindergartener. He has a huge presence on campus. He’s calming to be around, and makes me feel like he has time to see you. He definitely cares about people and TPES kids.
