Save Coach Sergio at TPES

We all love coach Sergio!! He is an integral part TPES and his commitment to the kids exemplary!!

We’ve moved away but both my sons remember Coach Sergio…always giving a great example to the students.

My three kids have had Sergio. I have not met a more dedicated coach. Especially during the lock down, Sergio went above and beyond to keep the kids engaged and healthy. The TPES community needs him.

He is a better investment over for the school, students, their families, and the community.

We need to get out priorities in a row. What happened to TPES ? He is what makes the school what it “was”

I would really like to know how the school district arrived at the conclusion that removing coach Sergio is in the best interest of students.

Coach Sergio is a fantastic inspiration from in & out of school, serving the community selflessly in many ways. He’s a literal life-saver, empathetic leader, and always encourages the kids to be their best with the greatest of calm energy.

Coach Sergio is such an awesome guy! We love him!

This summer I saw coach and a feeling came to me like I was back at elementary school again

Coach Sergio is literally an angel on earth and our community has been lucky to have his presence for 30 years. The Mullen family agrees whole heartedly in making sure he is employed at TPES as long as possible.

Not only was he instrumental in me growing up happy, healthy and with lots of exercise. He also was genuinely involved with everyone around him including my family. Thanks Sergio . Will never forgot all you have done.

Keep coach serg!!! He is a wonderful teacher and person.

Coach Sergio is the best!

Coach Sergio is one of the only teachers my 2 kids who graduated from Torrey Pines still talk about. He is such an important part of that school. Loosing a teacher like Sergio would be a tragedy. Kids don’t only learn in the classroom.

My daughter adores coach Sergio. Coach Sergio has been a positive force in her life for 5 years and I can tell you she has been upset by the rumors swirling around TPES about being forced out. Coach Sergio is a major part of the fabric that makes TPES a special place to send my children to school. Coach Sergio cannot be replaced, he is a singular figure that has earned a very special place in our community. If he were to be forced out this would be a tragedy and a clear sign our school district has lost its way. The parents and children at TPES want coach Sergio to stay until he is ready to leave, end of story.

Coach Sergio was the one who introduced me to the sport of football and it has given me many opportunities to go travel and play in different countries around the world. Sergio has been the PE coach at TPES as far as I can remember, from when I started in Kindergarten all the way until this year, everyone that has graduated from TPES loves and cares for him.

Sergio always has the best attitude and is the perfect teacher to have around kids, no other P.E. teacher could ever compare.
