Coach Schmeiser is a great role model to any player who has the privilege to play baseball under him. He coached me at Rancho Buena Vista High School, and I couldn't be more grateful for the experience I had as one of his players. He's a great man and an amazing coach.

Jason, keep your head up, you are a great man. The positive influence you have had in so many lives is a testimony within this petition. You can tell the quality of a coach when you simply listen to what the players have to say…it’s not surprising how many are supporting you. Yes, you developed a winning team but the score board is not the most important thing. You tried to help turn boys into men, making tough decisions - the right ones. Not everyone admires this quality; you made sure that ethics, morality and trust were key ingredients in developing these men - your team. All of those members will always remember your extra effort…over 40 years ago, I was fortunate to have a similar coach in my life. He was like a second father to me. I believe most are saying the same about you…most.

Jason Schmeiser is one of the most outstanding coaches I have ever met. I was never on his team, but I felt I could always go to him for advice and wisdom. He deserves better than to be kicked for such a petty reason.

Jason is a very good coach. I played for him in high school and coached along with him as well. He has done amazing things with baseball programs and goes out of his way to help others. For some reason he always tries to bring out the best in people and usually succeeds.

Don't forget the flipping of the birdie by the young man at the RBV team at the conclustion of the Fall Ball game. Now if I umpired that game and observed that gesture, guess what? He's ejected for the next game. That's the punishment. I hope ECHS doesn't condone that unsportsmanlike behavior by any of its athletes on any team. Baseball fan, it seems there is a lot of truth and fact in your post.

Jason Schmeiser and I were teammate many years ago. During our time together I often looked to him on how to act and behave on and off the baseball diamond. We had many conversation regarding how to conduct ourselves on and off the field. Jason always sided on the side of respect for teammates as well as opponents. The work ethic was always a focus and often motivated his teammates in a positive way. There was also a time we played against each other and Jason always conducted himself with class and integrity. Even when it was the harder road, Jason stuck to his morals. I hold Jason in the highest regards and would love to have my son play for him. Losing him would be a great loss for any program. If you care about the reputation of your program you will issue an apology and bring him back immediately!

Jason Schmeiser has been an influential coach/mentor involved in my life as a man and a ball-player for the past 16 years. Myself, and many like me have prospered greatly as a result of Jason's mentorship and positive leadership of those he is I trusted to care for, both on the baseball field and off. There is no doubt that myself and many others that truly know him share nothing but respect for who he is and how he reflects himself upon the community.

I have known Jason since he was a kid playing at Palomar, he was a great player and the best way to give back is to teach /coach. To go in another direction would be a mistake.

Don't understand this call. I've known Jason since High School/College and he knows the game. Is it because he's doing things different than what the AD or parents wanted? Hmmmmmm...

Have umpired a few EC games since Jason has been HC. He's a role model to his players in how to be respectful & courteous to us officials. {Not true with many HS coaches}.
