We recently recognized him on Council. He is an outstanding leader and role model. I don't understand why U of D would even consider letting him go? What is wrong with the leadership there? I mean really? Here is someone of color who has an outstanding record and you would trade him for what? SMH

I'm embarassed by the shoddy way my alma mater has treated Coach Ross. Just look at the way this talented young team has grown up over the course of this season. Two of the five CAA All-Rookie Team members are Delaware guards. Monte Ross deserves better, and so do the players and fans.

Coach Ross has turned around this program and followed all the rules. He deserves a long extension to his contract. By causing this drama, UD administration has caused damange to the program and probably with next year's recruit class and beyond. Stop playing games !

Coach Ross is a very able motivator, teacher & recruiter of alienated young men. He is a reedit ti the university and community. His experience mentored background makes him well prepared for the challenges at Delaware.

I wholeheartedly support the retention of Coach Monte Ross and urge you to reconsider ending his contract. firing him will indicate that UDel has reneged on its commitment to reward excellence and its pledge to embrace diversity

Coach Ross has done an outstanding job. He deserves to keep his job. He wants to stay and continue to build a great program. He has not tried to leave Delaware and use it as a stepping stone for another job at another college
