The park tennis courts are some of the most iconic courts in the state. They have helped produce some of the best tennis players in ND and MN WHO HAVE GON

Why can’t they have both???

As the pickleball coordinator for Eden Prairie Parks and Recreation I understand the demand and desire for more places to play pickleball. Taking away from the tennis community is not the answer. We have found plenty of solutions to this dilemma and I encourage the VCPB to do the same.

For High School and other tournaments, it is great to have extra courts.

Tennis was here long before pickleball was even a reality. This is a sport that is shared by generations. There ARE ALREADY adequate dual marked facilities for he PB folk. Leave the tennis courts alone

Would like to see dual use of the Tennis Courts in City Park. It is also important to have VCPS JV Tennis competition in VC. We should not eliminate a popular sport to accommodate another.

Please find a way to keep tennis and pickleball courts!

There is plenty of room in city park, Chautauqua park, or other areas in valley that these can easily be built in.

Our JV and varsity kids need these courts for meets. They are already challenged with not having indoor courts like all of their competitors.

All politics is local. Why do "people-based" decisions always seem to come down to "Us vs. Them" competition? Why do community interests always get played so one group "wins" at somebody else's expense?

Put pickle ball courts / basketball courts in pioneer or Chautauqua park. Or just mark one tennis court with pickle ball. Not that many play outside when they can play inside!!

Please find a way to make this dual use! This city cannot afford to only cater to the older generations! We are losing the young people- the work force that keeps this city operating.

There’s no reason to take out something in use to add another when both can be accommodated. Such short sighted decisions to do this create unnecessary discourse and drama rather than creative problem solving which leads to growth.

Dual use for these courts is the best use.

Don’t get rid of all the tennis courts!

i’ve been playing on these courts as long as i can remember. i continued using these courts when i played tennis in high school. i and a lot of others would be sad to see them go.
