I’ve had 3 kids thru HHS with another one still there. I also worked at the HS as the cheer coach for 9 years. Chris was the reason the school was held together for so many seasons. When the Principals - Benfatti and now Benotto hid in their office Chris did it all. He was a mentor, a friend and a champion of the students. Get rid of all the board admins with fake titles. You should all be ashamed of yourselves.

What about all the money from the sale of Hudson maxim I though is was going to be used to keep and grow our school system. Sounds like they are hurting the students rather them helping them. Another source of income is the selling a cell tower or someone paid to build one I think on the old upper field these fund should make our school stronger not get rid of great people. Good old hopatcong one step forward 3 steps back. So sad.

Keep this amazing man! Good men like him are hard to find! His skills and his personality affects my grandkids in an exceptional way! They need him in this awful situation they are in now!

Bugs is an amazing coach, teacher, and mentor. He takes his roles in his students lives very seriously, always offering advice, going above and beyond to mold his students into better people and athletes. To him there is no troubled child, there are only children who need guidance and restructure. Most teachers follow a lesson plan, only sticking to the plan, but not Bugs. He will help any student, even one that isn’t his, if he sees the student struggling. There needs to be more teachers like him. Removing Bugs from his position was a terrible mistake Hopatcong School District made and one that should be overturned.

Me being one of his former students And players on his baseball team, I can easily say this man is an amazing influence to the youth of hopatcong. A great role model who will actually listen to the children instead of ever pulling the “im the adult” card and belittling people. I know from first hand. And not to mention his very intelligent take on sports and his all out leadership is just a fraction of the potential he has to bring to the table. To demote him is not only the wrong move, it’s counterproductive and that’s not the Bugs way!

Was an assistant coach 2 years ago for the wrestling team. The kids absolute love this man and he was a pleasure to work with. I hope he can keep his position

I think that they are making the worst decision of their lives because he has made such and impact on the hopatcong high school. He loves what he does for us and The facted that he’s getting demoted is horrible
