Destroying a 50 yr old park is nonnegotiable! Build on the campus you have, build up on what you already have.

I'm not a neighbor, but I am a resident. How is taking over green space set aside for public use even possible here? Especially in a time where, at least on this side of town, schools have become gated and spaces completely unusable by neighbors. It's kind of mind-blowing.

I am not against expanding educational facilities, but why tear down 29 native trees that contribute to bio diversity and the ecosystem when there is room to add classroom somewhere else? It doesn’t make sense. Please stop this project.

Petaluma Schools must change their plan and put the new buildings on the existing flat surface that already exists. No need to cut down any trees. Be Smart and Earth Conscious!

I am Cherry street resident and feel strongly against removing this park and the trees. It is a wonderful asset to Cherry Valley. Families, dogs, birdlife and community need this park!

Both my boys attended CV, the last graduating in the early 2000s.
I taught art there in the late 90s, often taking my students down to these lovely trees to appreciate and sketch them.
They are healthy and vibrant and a historical treasure absolutely worth saving.
Is there no alternative? There must be.
The District has an arborist now?
