The closure will not only impact on staff morale but will cease to be a place of social interaction for all staff

Why take away things that give the staff so much pleasure? Everyone is stretched to the limit and having the club helps staff unwind and destress. It's always the little man that suffers

No Charlies Bar, no place to hang out and destress = PRODUCTIVITY AT WORK GOES DOWN.

very sad to hear that the social club is closing. it was a great place to catch up with work colleagues at the end of a busy weeks work.

seem to have plenty of money to give generous severance packages to corrupt purchasing executives who get house extensions etc built at public expense. this closure is an utter disgrace

Charlies bar is a good place to meet colleagues after work for a quick catch up. It helps maintain a friendly work relationship with others.

Dreadful decision! This is an important meeting place for all staff to get together - very important for morale.

I've only heard nothing but good things about the Social club and the things they do - it will be a shame to see it go!

I think it's disgraceful that nmahs are deliberately forcing the closure in this underhanded way of our club through greedy excessive rent increases .! This club was like a cohesive glue that kept morale buoyant and helped foster good relations between colleagues for 42 years !Now all this is being taken away and for what...?? Come on Nmahs do the right thing and stop the closure of Charlie's bar. Now !!!
