Save Charlies Bar

It's an institution!!! So important for staff morale.

Surely having motivated staff who relax and enjoy one another’s company is more important to the health system than making money from a bar.

I worked a RPH and we had a wind down place. We all needed it with the workloads and the things we saw on a daily basis.

It’s such a great place to unwind after a busy day it should stay open for staff to enjoy

I don’t even work there anymore but support those at Charlie’s who work so tirelessly to be able to have such an iconic peace of their de stress taken away from them.

Keep Charlie's Bar open! It's an institution within an institution! Great place that's close and handy for winding down after work.

This bar provides a relaxed and convenient place to network with other researchers and clinicians. It has heart and soul and is an integral part of campus culture, bringing together people from all over campus - collaboration was the point of having all these medical centres and research institutes colocated!!

many collaborations have started here! Charlie's Bar is so good for the culture of this campus - please don't let it die!

Charlie's is the most important place for QEII staff to meet after work and is of crucial importance for them! Please NMAHS take social aspects into consideration before kicking them out!

To ignorantly charge untenable fees leading to the closure of this important piece of social infrastructure on such a large disconnected work place goes against good planning. Right up there with your parking efforts.

Please don't close Charlie's Social Club. It's an important place for the QEII community to gather and interact. Also please consider that this will most impact young students and staff who cannot afford any other options in the local area.

Save our social club!!

It seems appalling that NMAHS cannot offer a discounted lease for a venue which contributes so much to the community of the QEII staff!!

For an organisation as large at this - not ok! Please re-consider this decision. Or work closely with the social club to come up with a different solution that saves the club. It's the perfect wind down and a great place to catch up with friends and colleagues from other parts of the campus. MORALE!!!!!

The social club is a convenient place to have a drink after work at a reasonable price!
