Moved to the Silver Run area nearly 30 years ago. Fell in love with the small town feel and sense of community that was centered around Charles Carroll Elementary. We will no longer be able to attract families with young children to the area if they close our school and our property values will go down! Please keep our school open and our community alive.

Please keep th is school open. It is the heart of this community and is the oldest school in Carroll County. It is history ! We as a community feel that this would hurt our children, families, business', our children education , and the groups that dwell in this community. We are Charles Carroll Strong

I'm 25 and still keep in touch with the friends I made when I went here. A close community is important and it won't be the same if we have to ship kids out to other schools

I am against the closing of Charles Carroll as the Silver Run/Union Mills area needs this school for the elementry students within the surrounding neighborhoods. It is Outrageous to even ponder the thought of putting young children on a bus for any longer than they are already subjected to.

Please do not close Charles Carroll. The community needs this school in our area. My kids have not started school yet and we would like to them to go to school someplace very close to home with all the stuff you see on tv that goes on. From what we have heard this hasn't happened at Charles Carroll. Everyone in the community talks about it being a great learning environment and we want that for our children.

This school is the center of our community, all three of my children will tell you they had the best elementary experience ever. My youngest has even gone on to say that after moving on she could see the difference in the kids who had attended other schools prior to middle school that the Charles Carroll families were friends and truly cared about all the children in our community. Each one of my kids has been able to experience not only their education through this school but sports, scouts, volunteering, and jobs at local businesses in our area. Most importantly lasting bonds with the children, families, and teachers in our community. Charles Carroll is an intricate part of the Silver Run/Union Mills Community and should not be taken away!

When the school closes property values will deteriorate, crime will go up and drug drealers will find a new haven. Keep our neighborhood SAFE! Keep Charles Carroll OPEN!
