What will be the expense to convert the school for other uses ? The same repairs that are necessary would still have to be done to use the building for other uses,such as a community center ? There are students that would be on the bus up to an hour before reaching the school.What effect does this have on the students ability to learn ? I know that the commissioners have intentions of using funds for other purposes that are not as critical as to keeping a community school open.I ponder sometimes,what influences commissioners to make the decisions that they make.An example is how they decided to overturn the vote on the airport expansion.

My children attend this amazing school. In all the years they have attended I have no complaints. Closing this school will not only hurt our children but our community as well. Please on the behalf of everyone please make the right decision and keep our school open.

Please fix and continue to bring Charles Carroll up to it's expected standards. We as a community have a right to expect this pillar to remain as we have known it for the last 90 plus years. As tax paying citizens and voters I expect the BOE and Commissioners to expedite funds to this project as we have sat back and waited for this issue to be rectified. We want our children to remain within the district as many of us have hand chosen this community for various reasons. Please understand and keep Charles Carroll not only open but at the forefront of modernization as we have been promised. Thank you

Charles Carroll school is a piece of history. Every child that lived in the silver run-union mills area went to that school. They have always had very good teachers. Please Save this school

As Charles Carroll is the oldest elementary school in the county, I attended the school grades one through six and I taught fourth grade there and did substituting I sign this petition with the hope that this building remains open to serve future generations .
