A neighbourhood without a bookstore isn't truly a neighbourhood!

Very upset and worried that interior/exterior decor will be ruined! I've enjoyed shopping in this bookstore over the years. Why does shoppers drug mart have to move here - they already ruined original location of Cheese Boutique at Bloor and Durie.

Very sad. This bookstore was one of the reasons why I moved in to this neiborhood.

I love this bookstore. The interior is gorgeous and honours the theatre that came before it. Shoppers already has a great location a short walk away. Chapters is far more important to this community than having a Shoppers right at the corner. As well, the workers will lose their jobs; they have not been promised first dibs on jobs at other locations. This situation is a shame on so many levels.

Not only is Chapters a historical landmark, it is a main part of the Bloor West Village community. We simply can't lose it. Do we want the first thing people see when they get out of the Runnymede Subway to be a Shoppers with fluorescent lighting and overpriced everything, or do we want it to be a beautifully preserved Chapters of literature and learning?

This is a very cool place. Indigo Books and Music Inc. from everything I know is a good company. I think it would be great for them and the community to find a way to remain in this location.

I have provided this store with my business and have preferentially shopped here. The architecture, the members of the staff the whole experience has no peer in this city. and when we have a neighbourhood such as Bloor West this store is an integral part of what makes this a happy place to be.

Chapters , one of the fewbook stores even trying to compete in the digital landscape. Support needed to keep their presence in our heritage landmark thta may be destroyed by a drug pa

Chapters was amazing, especially that one store, the view of the theater amazed me, but also the books and etc, the service is wonderful and it brought joy to many, they don't deserve to close down.

That Shopers along with Loblows is going to replace Chapter. I do not understand how the building owner does not care at all about people around. We all agree that everybody is looking its own business but be so brutal, not getting enough, that is out of question.

Thank you very much for supporting this petition. I am mother of two and tonight was concert in this bookstore. And that is all about. Community, people, heritage, culture. This bookstore togehter with the building is focal point and almost community center of Bloor West village. Please inform as much people as you can. Every voice counts. WE can not ignore what is going on in our communiy. Today is Chapter, tomorow is going to be other small business lost because of irrational decisions.
