Indeed it's more than a bookstore. It's a place that inspires and excites children and adults of all ages to read, write, learn, think, wonder, imagine, dream and achieve!

Our family is pretty sad about Chapters leaving the neighbourhood. I don't begrudge Shoppers for improving their business but this is the wrong location for a drug store, it will be like a walmart given the size.

This Chapters book store is so beautiful and always a pleasure to peruse. This artsy and beautiful bookstore adds so much to the village as a tourist site and neighbourhood treasure. The thought of a Shoppers Drug Mart here with its clinically cold atmosphere is sad.

I have been going to this bookstore with my parents since I was very young. It would be a complete waste of an amazing space with lots of history if it were to be made into a Shoppers Drug Mart.

this store, this location as an old theatre, has a great ambiance. it sets a mood. my daughter and i have enhoyed hours here simply reading, sitting down, sharing laughs and sharing time together. don't close this location.

as a member of Swansea Historical Society we put in many, mant hours to see that H Reisman did not cheat us of our heritage & beauty. They want cheaper short-cuts, we want integrity. Shoppers has a legacy (downtown heritage building at King St.) of making spaces hideous .
