Save Chaddsford - Stop Development

THERE IS ALREADY HEAVY TRAFFIC IN BRANDYWINE. WE DONNOT NEED MORE REVENVE. I OPPOSED.

We were told at time of purchase that nothing would be build in the area that this strip mall is said to be built. The reason why we purchased. If build, the reason why we'd sell.

Please do not bring this development to my community. Currently, we have enough of a balance between residential and commercial. The rights of property owners are just as valuable as business and private business.

I am not in agreement with the proposed development in my neighborhood.

I have resided in the Chaddsford community for the past 9 years and am opposing the building the the proposed development because it will change the tranquility of our neighborhood.

I too oppose additional commercial development so close to Brandywine Crossing.

This development is not beneficial to a community that is already congested. There is a Wawa and 7-Eleven less than a mile from this proposed strip location, not to mention many of the stores planned within 3 miles.

I joined the other Chaddsford residents in opposing new development for many reasons, ie high traffic, increase in home invasions/crimes, illicit activities, etc

New businesses attract more traffic and residents are already overwhelmed with heavy commutes. Developers are bringing new business but no investment in resolving the traffic problem.

We need more parks, walking trails, fitness stations. This area is already congested; accidents occur weekly and there is minimal to know police/state trooper presence. Our neighborhood is already experiencing break-ins and robberies for the first time in over 10 years.

I vehemently oppose the new development in my community. When I purchased my home, I was told that there were provisions in place to protect the trees and landscapes in the neighborhood; the new development threatens these promises. Also, these types of establishments belong in retail space. There are spaces throughout Brandywine that is still rural and the residents do not have a store in close proximity of where they live; so truly these stores could be better suited in one of one of those locations. Please read the petitions and listen to the concerns of the residents, before you finalize any plans.

I definitely oppose any new development and connecting streets/roads to the Chaddsford Community. We have enough already. We do not need more business or traffic. I have witnessed several deaths and been personally victimized by rappant crime to my home and property. New and expanded development comes with a cost (sometimes hidden). This new development proposal will ultimately increase our taxes, homeowners insurance, and decrease our property values. I vote NO - we have enough already.

There is already too much traffic in that area as it is. I don’t think anything else needs to be built there unless they are planning to put an express bypass at those intersections to relieve the traffic.

The people who live here want a nice community of families. We don't want an abundance of businesses, especially a store like 7-Eleven in our community. These stores will bring in customers who will stray into our neighborhoods, litter, loiter, etc. Please stop this development.

I do not want the proposed business or any commercial business this close to ly community. It will definitely impact the sanctity of this community as well as my families quality of life. I say NO.

I opposed building a strip mall at the entrance to my community.
