These stores will only be an eyesore to the Chaddsford community. Money needs to be sent on upscale grocery stores and some way to get relief from the constant traffic jams on Rt. 5 and 301

This is a traffic nightmare. Building a shopping center where one of only two access points has the potential to impede access to an entire community is a terrible idea. The traffic at this area of 301 is already ridiculous. Adding that the only access from south would be to turn into Chaddsford only inconveniences residents who are trying to get home. Further, the vendor options leave much to be desired. A Taco Bell and 7-Eleven? We need quality food and grocery options on this end of the county.

We do NOT want these retail stores in our community. We already have issues with people who do not live here coming into our neighborhood committing crimes, throwing away bulk trash, selling drugs, prostituting, etc. We are not interested in increasing the traffic to our community and increasing the crime. It’s a shopping center across the street that is designated for retail stores.

I am completely opposed to the 7-11 & Taco Bell development. Both are already available in close proximity to the Chaddsford community. Building these stores in front of our community will create a significant eye sore, increase traffic, and loitering. The Brandywine Crossings has ample empty retail space that can be used for the 7-11 & Taco Bell as well as any other commerical real estate that was slated to be built in front of the Chaddsford community.

As a homeowner in Chaddsford, I’m against any additional home building and definitely against commercial. This is a peaceful residential area and we’d like to keep it that way and raise our families in a safe neighborhood. There is no need for additional 711, liquor stores nor restaurants. There are plenty commercial establishments within the vicinity.

I oppose this development as this is right in the backyard of my community Chaddsford Landing. The proposed entry is right in a residential community which will increase already hectic traffic, and open up vulnerabilities for the current community. This may increase crime, rodent infestation etc. There is one way in and one way out currently. This is not a good idea.
