Save Chaddsford - Stop Development

I agree ample room across the street, we don’t need the extra congestion, pedestrians that will surely bring down the value of our homes. Please stop this now!!!!

Please stop this development. Our community needs the tree line for noise control on 301. There are plenty of vacant store fronts in Brandywine Crossing Center that these stores could move into. There is a WAWA 2 lights down from our community, and several 7-Eleven’s as you continue down the road on both sides of the street. It is already a nightmare to turn in and out of the community and this would make it nearly impossible! The restaurant and stores will increase crime and the trash will surely bring rodents into our neighbors hood as well.

I stronger oppose this additional development in Brandywine Maryland as it impact the Charles County regions in a major way. There is no concern for the thousands of citizens who have to encounter traffic thru this area on a daily bases. In addition as a home owner in a development that is geared for families the value of homes can be affected by adverse effects of added traffic and people using this shopping center. What is the problem of adding stores to the Brandywine Shopping center as a way to control traffic, expand the shopping experience in one location?

We don't need a shopping center in our backyard! It will increase crime and decrease our home value. There's ample space across the street for office buildings and restaurants. The addition of these establishments, will bring additional visibility to our neighborhood. We purchased our homes for the serene environment and being tucked away from the hustle, bustle and outside distractions. Please don't disturb this!

I am not in favor of any future development at the Chaddsford entrance facing Route 5.

We are concerned with safety & crime that can increase with adding commercial businesses within a close proximity to our community. There’s is no need for it given all of the existing commercial businesses at Brandywine Crossing .

I agree with many of the comments. More is not necessarily a good thing. Improve the road for traffic. Maybe a foot bridge going over the highway for safety.

The traffic is already bad in the area, especially for those like myself who live in the Chaddsford community. Also, the additional stores are not what the area needs. We need stores of value. Like better grocery stores, etc. While I'm not oppose to the Navy Federal bank.

We do not want this development in our neighborhood. There is already only one way in/out, trash everywhere, increased traffic and crime. Not to mention there is a Wawa and 7-11 right down the road and a shopping center right across the street. We can barely get out of our neighborhood onto 301 as it is. Please consider just leaving a tree somewhere, anywhere???

With the recent home invasions, no need for additional foot traffic and trash that adding a 7eleven and Taco Bell can bring. Keep our children and our community safe. Plenty of land across the street, use that...

There is serious traffic infrastructure issues and more than enough stores in this area. Stop the overdevelopment now
