With all the historical items on show why not publicise it with signposts , posters etc and get the punters in and money to maintain it

It's another sign of the decline of historical awareness in the U.K. that closure of this museum should even be considered.

We have visited on a number of occasions and have always enjoyed the activities and special events over the years. Would be a great shame to lose this for the children in Canterbury

Yes, please save the museum. A few years back the museum held enjoyable events which we attended as a family and valued greatly.

We can not have our museums closed. These are so important to keep our history going. Soon we will only be viewing such places on line. Keep it open save our heritage, Canterbury is such an attraction for visitors, surely by improving and keeping it open brings money into the city.

The Canterbury Heritage Museum is a magnificent local resource which we very much enjoy as do our grandchildren! Please keep it as one of the jewels in the crown of Canterbury sightseeing not only for tourists but also for us as members of the local community.

This magnificent medieval building should be open throughout the year as it was prior to 31st December 2013. This is the reason for the considerable drop is visitor numbers since that date.

This wonderful medieval building, which houses much of Canterbury's history should be open throughout the year and not merely school holidays. This would allow the many thousands of visitors to the City to enjoy this splendid museum and Grade I listed building, as they did prior to 31st December, 2013. It would also help if it was effectively marketed and intelligently signposted
