This museum is an asset to local people and to tourists visiting Canterbury. It would be a great loss if closed.

Our English Language school sent more than 500 international students to the museum in 2016. This would be a huge loss to our programme.

I think it is very important that associated and interested organisations which will be involved in the work intended to be done should be official trustees as well as the Marlowe, I am speaking as a member of the Marlowe Museum Project committee, which has the offer of books to be available in any space which this group wishes to be responsible for. As personalities and committees change over time, it is essential that trusteeship is legally defined.

Canterbury is a popular tourist destination and to close the heritage museum would be to rob us of the chance to attract even more tourists to our beautiful city. Canterbury needs more not fewer tourist attractions.

This is a brilliant way for younger members of the community and visitors to see the history of Canterbury and how the Cathedral was built. Please lets not lose it.

Many dedicated staff over the years have done their bit to support this museum and its siblings in the city. They should be commended, not instead see their work wiped out by those who have never taken an interest in it.

Canterbury is one of the most historically important cities in the Uk. The loss of this museum would be devastating for the city

The contents of this museum are of both Local and National interest and we should treasure them for future generations as we are the custodiens. There must be more consultations before the fate is determined.

This museum is difficult to find and the cost puts people off if they've only got a short time to visit after a shopping excursion.

This is a wonderful museum and a great educational resource and visitor attraction. It is in need of greater visibility and I am sure that this would help.

This is an invaluable educational resource in addition to all its other functions and one which I used regularly when teaching. Please reconsider its future for our children.

If Canterbury can't tell its story to the world, who can? And get some decent signs out there!

The Canterbury Heritage Museum provides an invaluable source of knowledge about Canterbury's history. My own children and friend's children learnt about history through the exhibitions and fun activities by dressing up and the interactive games.

As a tourist I regret the closure of this museum and the implications for visitors.
