The building is large enough to house an updated museum and other activities to generate income and social use.

This building is a perfect museum space and I don't believe it to be a suitable theatre space. I fully support the consortium in their bid to create a dynamic hub.

Canterbury Heritage Museum is a beautiful, historic building and venue for many interesting community events. Everything should be done to maintain it, indeed, make it a flagship tourist destination.

Please don't close this historic museum that tells the city's tale when it actually in Canterbury - it's significance elsewhere would be lost and therefore less revenue!

As a school teacher working in a Canterbury secondary school for over 10 years I visited the Heritage Museum on numerous occasions with school groups and as a parent of three children living in Canterbury we have visited many more times as a family. Such places in a community are vital in giving people, particularly young people, a connection to the place they live - a sense if place and context. Canterbury Heritage Museum does this so well.
I worry that in closing places such as this that my generation is rapidly diminishing the cultural enrichment that I had access to when I was younger.
Please reconsider.
