This is a nationally important museum with amazing artefacts from Kent's Saxon and later mediaeval history AND artwork and models from Rupert the Bear and the unrivalled creations of Oliver Postgate and Peter Firmin: Noggin the Nog, the Clangers, Bagpuss etc.

Seeing Joseph Conrad's desk at the museum was unexpectedly inspirational and a highlight of my trip to Canterbury. I hope it can be perserved for others to see.

I am appalled that the City Council can consider closing such a good museum. Canterbury is so rich in history and our children and many other visitors need a heritage museum to learn about it. Please keep it open!

Canterbury is such a site of historic value, losing this centre would be a huge shame. So many people are in support I sincerely hope the council listen to our concerns and revamp rather than lose this centre.

It is a splendid museum which is probably as important as the Beaney.

The museum needs extra funding to make it better, not closing. It's a great building and could be a great museum.

Used this museum a lot with the Canterbury Young Archaeologists' Club. Great medieval & WW2 sections, & in an amazing building. Would love to see it saves for future generations.
