This museum is of real value to Canterbury and as such to all those who live and visit the city . The museum should be saved and enhanced to encourage more interest in this important city's heritage.

Instead of closing it - promote it, let's not become a city which ignores its world heritage status by closing a museum that is as important as the cathedral and St Augustines Abbey

Better signage from the High Street might help with visitor numbers. I'm sure many people don't know anything about the museum.

With even a small amount of vision and effort from CCC this museum, with its supporters expertise, can remain an important attraction and resource for local people and tourists alike.

It seems utter madness to close the CHM. I strongly oppose the idea and am grateful for the opportunity for my voice to be heard.

I regard this suggestion as vandalism. A building of this age and History is very important in understanding the people and the past we have inherited.

The Poor Priests' Hospital is an amazing medieval building and must remain open for all to see. The Heritage Museum is the only museum in Kent which illustrates Canterbury's rich heritage. Canterbury being a World Heritage site needs a museum of his calibre.

If absolutely necessary the Rupert Bear wing could be moved to the Beaney but in NO WAY can the historic museum be closed or moved
History needs to be protected for the future.
