The historic City of Canterbury visited by so many tourists deserves to have a museum to show its past. If the costs are too high, there could be a rota of volunteers. I for one would volunteer to help running.

Canterbury has a wealth of history and a considerable number of tourists and locals who would relish the prospect of a revitalised Heritage Museum. Its a 'no-brainer'!

Do not lose another important part of the City history when it is entirely avoidable. Be creative.

Maybe a questìon of "no comment". Our heritage continues to be degraded. What will we have to pass on to next generations if this kind of thing continues?

Signed. I have visited Canterbury. It's a beautiful little town. We didn't go into the cathedral because there was a service going on at the time.

People need to learn from the past, maybe invest in regenerating the museum to bring in more money rather than closing it down.

A world famous and historically important city like Canterbury needs its museums. Short term financial squeezes should not impinge on a city's heritage.

This museum' contents are so interesting and so accessible to all ages. I always recommend it to friends visiting Canterbury, especially if it is a family. There is so much they can learn and enjoy together in the exhibits.
