It would surely help if visitors to the city were made much more aware of the existence of the Heritage Museum than they are at present by better signage.

My family and I going back 4 generations have loved this place - what will they do with it? Give it a make over and hand it to developers for posh flats?

This museum should remain open and accessible to all, locals and visitors. It exhibits much of great interest, the Conrad collection in particular.

It's very important that the Conrad materials in the museum's archives remain accessible to scholars. Among other things, these archives contain the correspondence of Conrad's son John when he was executor of the Conrad estate, and an Arab dagger given as a gift to Conrad by T. E. Lawrence.

Closure of this wonderful proper museum would be a tragedy. The Beaney is a joke; the thin end of the 'new museum' wedge.

This museum is very important for future generations to be able to see and know the history of Canterbury and its role over time. It is definitely a potential comprehensive research tool for everyone who values history.

I'm a Canterbarian who first visited this historic building to be weighed at 4 weeks old at the clinic. This place plays a major part in Canterburys history.

We live close by and see that the museum is very popular with tourists and we feel the prices and fact that it is rarely open must deter people.

Please do not let this museum close. Canterbury has a fascinating past which should be shared with visitors and locals alike.

This museum is a wonderful resource for the local community and visitors. My children loved visiting with their primary school and excellent events were put on by the staff.
It is a shame that more isn't made of it for visitors.

Please do not destroy our heritage. Those of us who live here are so often denied our rights it always seems Canterbury only exists to serve VISITORS
