A Doverian, now I living in the town where the 'Fair Maid of Kent' is buried (under a carpark it's thought - it's a Plantagenet thing!). Strange that the local council here. having closed our museum, is now considering the future of the discovery centre that replaced it. What price our heritage.

I (Dutch tourist, historian) visited the museum in July. I was surprised about the variety of collections and the unique displays in a very interesting historical landmark. Please do not dissipate the collections. Keep the Invicta in the city!!!

This amazing, fascinating historic city is truly special and all records should be kept. Tourism will always play a pivotal role in the survival of Canterbury.

I live in the United States but I have ancestors who lived and worked in Canterbury. I hope to someday visit this museum.

Canterbury lives on its past. To close the museum would be the most dreadful mistake.

Names of those who proposed the closure should be promulgated.

I have visited this museum , which I found a wonderful and fascinating experience. I have been horrified to hear that the council might close it. for what purpose ? it makes no sense. I strongly hope it is preserved for the future. James

Don't let this go the way the Guildhall went. Future generations will regret.
