The Board of Directors confirmed today that the decision to sell Camp Coleman has been rescinded. We have secured the property for continued troop use. I will monitor the upcoming facility maintenance schedule to ensure these protections remain in place.

KEEP IT OPEN. The girls need this place.
So many good memories at Coleman. It taught me how to be independent. Selling it would be such a big mistake.
Camp Coleman is a local treasure. Grew up going here in the 70s and it breaks my heart to hear it might be gone.
My daughter went here for 3 summers and she still talks about the friends she made. dont take this away from the girls.
why close it? this camp is the best one we have. my troop loves the trails and the lodge.
I love Camp Coleman & would love to see it brought back to it's former glory.

I can remember going to Camp Gertrude Coleman as a young girl in the mid/late 1950s. After I had daughters of my own, they spent some time there. One of me favorite memories is having Cook Outs over the Campfires - finding a suitable "cooking stick," skinning it enough for the hotdogs or biscuits to be cooked, then cooking & eating it. GOOD MEMORIES!
