This is a Part of Our Home, Grenada. We've Grown and have accpeted where Camerhogne park is. Why must it be relocated or even sold? I don't see the need for such action to take place. Futhermore, it's close to one of our favourite and well known Beaches, which is Grand Anse Beach. Both places get the best attraction period. The Camerhogne Park is Good where is it and I see no need for it to be sold. At least leave something for us Locals.

Why sell the only place people can roam around and have fun?

I beg of you people to keep the one place we can hang without a cost, the one place where we can go to reflect, cry, socialise, discuss issues in quietness.....the whole works. Please reconsider this plan.....may it result into a positive outcome for us the islanders. We have very few areas like this park on the island it will scar our nation's heart to lose it.

This is the only access that Grenadians have to the beach. All others are privately owned beach front. It is ludicrous to sell the park. For what? Development? Develop other parts of the island and leave the park alone. Its one of the few places we have to recreate ourselves and one of the few places we can call our own. What is being sold is not just a park. It's the countless memories that people have formed in the park. A generation is being robbed of the opportunity that others had to experience the tranquility and simple beauty of this place. I can recall a similar situation in Grenada's history in St. David's during Eric Gairy's reign, where locals were denied access to a beach. It didn't end well. Just some food for thought. We Grenadians, in my opinion, are very passive where politics is concerned, but I don't think ( and I hope I am right) that we would sit by and let this manifest. Some things you just DON'T put a price on!!
