You can't sell all or countries natural parks Fort Jeudy point has been sold where are we flying kites this Easter now camerhogne , what's gonna be left that's not owned by outsiders

I have very fond memories of Camerhogne Park. Happy moments that I really wish generations to come can all enjoy

Thats not possible.Our politicians ned to think this through.I don't know who is getting top dollar for what but this is not fair to the citizens of Grenada.I know they will try to say it will create employment for Grenadians but employment for how long.It is just plain and simple NO Hotel on the park.Then they will in turn privatize the beach....whats are they really trying to do,create more hostility among the citizens.We need unity,keep our parks open for the love of the nation...pleeease.......

This is outrageous. To destitué the park for another hotel when one is already currently being built. That means the whole stretch of Grand Anse will be hotels and no public areas. That park vols alot of history especially in the name and the Political Leaders need to be more aware of the concerns of Grenadian citizens and the countries birth rights. Tourisms is good but from what I can tell the dimplomact of these new hotels often comes to bite back the country.

( Read this as though I'm shouting.) WE NEED PLACES TO OCCUPY ON THIS ISLAND AS MUCH AS TOURISTS DO. And we should not have to give up on of the only recreational spots we have for yet another hotel. You have the entire perimeter of the island to build a hotel.

If we give up this park, there will be no entrance to the beach other than the few narrow roads. Hotels will soon flock the beach and locals won't be able to enjoy it anymore. Stop giving all of our locally enjoyed spots for the sake of "tourism".

How dare they give away our main entrance to the best beach on the island! How ridiculous can you get?

It's bad enough that we are no longer called the Spice Isle but instead Pure Grenada....., don't sell something that has been a part of most peoples' lives, it isn't yours to sell or relocate. Would you sell your childhood home.. No you wouldn't, I spent most of my childhood just going there. Could you imagine going there not as a pathway to the beach well I can because I have chilled in the park so many times without bathing on the beach.

This park has been around too long to have changes. It has history and serve to long as a good recreational ground or us Grenadians it will be a shame for Government to keep want to change and give away what's is dear to the people and we seek fun and happiness in part of our country !!

My mother is Grenadian and I have spent many happy years travelling to Grenada on family holidays, the most recent of which was December just gone. As a regular visitor to Grand Anse beach, I sincerely hope that there will be a Camerhogne Park to return to this year. It's one of the few recreational spaces in Grenada, one that is used by people all over the island, is a mainstay for children's activities and is visited by tourists from all over the world. Very few people who've travelled to Grenada haven't either been to Camerhogne Park or heard of it. It's an invaluable resource and once it's gone, it's gone. David Cameron couldn't sell Hyde Park in London for any price. Barack Obama couldn't sell Central Park in NY for any price. This 'billionaire investor' looking to buy the Park is from Egypt - well, try going to Egypt and ask to buy the Pyramids or Tahir Square and see how far you get. Some things are not for sale.
