Good luck in your cause. It is good that you are marshalling the evidence of what works so that the Council can/will follow the evidence base.

As a t/a of a hearing impaired child I cannot imagine how much harder my job would be without the support of the specialist team that work with us.

Good Luck, it is easy for those who don't use such services to forget how vital they are for those that do.

All children deserve a right to education and it is inexcusable to deny them this right by curtailing services to less able bodied children.

Why are the children's needs not at the forefront of this consultation merely the need to reduce the budget?

The prospect of any help being taken away from children who need it so crucially is shocking and obviously extremely upsetting to all the parents concerned. I hope your petition will draw attention to the situation and have a positive outcome.
It is essential that this specialist service is continued. Blind and deaf children should absolutely be able to learn at school and experience the learning opportunities that they rightly deserve. Accessing support like this is essential for their ongoing development of skills and learning to equip them to lead fulfilling lives. Please Cambridgeshire County Council, reconsider.
