provide real support for the most vulnerable in the county. what is the real saving of cuts now and next year and the year after? more ongoing expense throughout a lifetime because of missed opportunities and failure to adequately support during childhood. that's more expensive not a saving, isn't it?

Saving money is important but should be prioritized. These vulnerable children with sight loss should be supported in any way we can ... the agencies caring for them should be given more, not less. Andy Guiel, Guide Dogs.

Blind and deaf children should have the support necessary to learn in school.

As a habilitation specialist I understand the emense support that is required when supporting a child with a visual impairment. The local authorities input is often the first port of call for many families, without this input the impact of the lives of children with a visual impairment will have drastic implications to the education and social learning. Save the sensory support team!

As a registered severely visually impaired person myself I know first had how vital these services are. I went to mainstream school, university, have 2 degrees and have worked and contributed to society for 16 years. This would not be the case without the support I had in place at school. You want disabled people to work when they become adults? Then support them in their education so they have every opportunity possible.

please don't take away our visual impairment team - they have supported our daughter since birth, through nursery, infant and junior school. Their support and expertise has been second to none, and without this essential service our daughter would not be able to access the curriculum or gain life skills imperative to the blind. Please support our sensory service!

This needs as much support as possible.
When will our MP's recognise this?
