Children who have visual and/or hearing difficulties should continue to have specialist input from specialist teachers, mobility/rehabilitation specialist and learning support assistants with training in these areas of expertise. Children in Cambridgeshire have had the opportunity to reach their full potential with excellent input from specialist professionals and it is essential to continue this outstanding service if children are going to continue to do well. Experts in these specialist fields, children and their parents should be listened to as they are the ones who know exactly what is needed for success. I wholeheartedly support Cambridgeshire's Sensory Service which has supported and helped so many children and their families over the years and hope they are able to continue to do this at the same high level. Sensory impaired children deserve such specialist input.

If this Specialist Sensory support is reorganised and diluted the clock is going back 50years in terms of ALL children's' rights, both to education and inclusion. I

Cuts to sensory services, will cut peoples life choices and chances. Don't write the VI community off until you can see what we can do.

This essential service must be maintained for the benefit of our children's future. The proposed changes are a disgrace.

It seems services for people with disabilities are constantly being cut, why? What has happened to this world we are living in? There seems to be little compassion from people who are more able to fight their own corner, a lot of people are more self centred these days. Are we not able to turn this tide of selfishness? I for one believe money should be found to support this vital service.
