It has been a Middletown Township iconic landmark since I was a boy some 50+ years ago. If the property is to be developed, I'm sure there must be a place on Highway 35 that it can be moved to without damaging the structure. (p.s. I never saw this as an evil entity.)

In the 1990's, I lived in the Middletown area and used to pass by the clown frequently. It wasn't until the film Clerks II that I realized that this was an iconic landmark of historical purposes. Please don't let the clown disappear!

Carefully dismantle it and erect it in front of town hall! It could then be decorated for the Winter holidays in lieu of a tree or bush. :)
