Sometimes a hero rises above us all... The Evil Clown is that hero. Somebody spearhead this charge and get him on the National Resgister of Historic Places. He is a true landmark. Here's the state rep for NJ: New Jersey Mr. Robert C. Shinn , Jr. State Historic Preservation Officer NJ Department Parks & Forestry CN-404 Trenton, New Jersey 08625-0404 609-292-2885

O Evil Clown of Middletown (air: O Little Town of Bethlehem) O Evil Clown of Middletown How still we see thee stand. You used to spin And spin again Surveying all the land. You by the roadside standeth, A frightening visage, Eliciting from children, tears Like a twisted mirage.

Things can be built while preserving this landmark. To make itook better give it a facelift.. Repaint with same artwork. I moved out of state and had a picture of it printed up on canvas and hung in my living room.

I am formerly of Highlands, NJ. Save the clown! I always wondered why his finger is red.

this place is already too crowded for more homes and malls. Also this thing is a local icon, don't ruin culture for a little money

I grew up in Middletown and my mom shopped at food circus. I live in Texas now but still want to see Calico when I come to town. Food circus and my mom are gone but let's save Calico!

We really need to preserve this piece of art history and town culture! The developers are the evil ones not the clown!
