The leadership has announced their resignation. I am honestly stunned that our little group managed to push this through. Please keep watching the city hall updates to ensure the transition is handled correctly.

For the past several years Calgary has gone through tough times and has struggled to survive a deep recession. During this time Calgary City Hall has done absolutely nothing to help local businesses, as a matter of fact the City leadership has and is hurting local businesses with insane property tax increases all this while the City budget is ballooning out of control. Due to lack of leadership, Calgary risks to enter a systemic crisis with long term consequences. Please sign this petition if you consider the Calgary City Hall leadership is acting against the best interests of Calgarians and therefore it should step down.

I am honestly overwhelmed by how many people feel the same way about our city. This is entirely due to the frustration I hear from neighbors everywhere and I am just humbled to be a part of this movement with you.

The problem is they think they need "more" tax money. What they need is less wasteful spending and better management of the money they get now. Send OUT the clowns.

We need Recall Legislation at the Civic, Provincial and Federal levels so we can kick their sorry asses to the curb!

Anything would be better than what we have. 70 and still working because I have to. I can't afford a flames game new arena or old and don't ride a bike. Perhaps a new council could give the same attention to sidewalks as they do bike paths.

Tine for some serious fat trimming, and need the right leadership to do it. Tough love to the department Heads, and if it's an issue, show them the door. The Fire Department can stop driving the 3 million dollar pumper truck to the grocery store or for coffee at Anaolog,... or to a fender bender to sweep up kitty litter. Yikes, grow some !!

no leadership from elected officials. there needs to be a recall or similar to force these irresponsible ones out now. They don't represent the businesses that feed the people that pay the taxes.

Next election, we need to vote in Councillors who will agree to a two-term limit, and who will cut salaries, pensions and benefits to Councillors. The current crop, other than Farkas and occasionally Chu, are the greediest trough-suckers that it has ever been my misfortune to watch in action. They have no clue on how to budget or how to run the City of Calgary.

Nenshi should keep out of Provincial and Federal politics. Not his mandate!
