I rely on the 30S/N buses to get to the other side of the city/Cap Hill area. It would be disappointing to lose that opportunity. The other alternatives are more expensive and more difficult to do. Please do not take away the best way to use public transportation to those of us not near a metro stop.

These buses are always standing room only during rush hour and often have to skip stops as a result.

I agree. The busses are always packed in the morning and evening commutes, and they do sometimes need to skip stops because they are so full. The way to solve this problem is to make sure that the busses are running on time so that three similar-routed busses aren’t at the same stop at the same time, leaving large gaps in the schedule (which happens sometimes on the 31/33/30N/30S route along Wisconsin). These bus routes are the only way many of us in Cathedral Heights and the surrounding neighborhoods can get to our jobs. Likewise, the D and 30 routes are the major way that residents can access Georgetown, as it is already not metro accessible.

Please do not reduce bus service to Glover Park - so many of us depend on these buses for work, shopping, and recreation.

These bus lines are crucial to kids' daily commute to / from Hardy Middle School! Eliminating them means making it more difficult for students to get to / from school. Either parents will have to drive, adding congestion and pollution to the neighborhood. Or kids will have to walk / bike home with heavy backpacks in tow.

these buses are already overfilled during peak hours , both in the morning and late afternoon. And the decision is to eliminate more routs? Why nobody is looking at data before making decision? WHy dont the decision makers try to take these routes themselves and experience on their own what it is like already? if anything, they should add more routes to these lines. most people in that area dont use/or own a car, so people heavily rely on BUSES

We rely on these bus lines to get to work everyday (especially for those of us, including myself, who cannot afford to have a car). There is no metro rail access, so these bus lines are crucial in connecting us to the rest of DC.

As a resident of Wisconsin Avenue, I can say these bus lines are CRUCIAL for getting by in D.C. especially as there is no nearby metro station. The buses are literally all we have.

My "personal mantra" is: "There's A Solution To EVERY Problem". The purpose of coming up with a "Solution" isn't to cause or increase the current "Problem" being addressed but to eradicate or reduce the negative impact on said problem. Eliminating services that, in their current state, doesn't adequately meet the needs of the community isn't a viable nor effective "solution" for & ever growing metropolis such as the stature of DC, our Nation's capital. I'm relatively new here & without personal transportation. I was very impressed with the accessibility provided by your Metro system. Pls. do not cut services but determine how you may more effectively implement this valuable community resource!

The 30 buses are already overcrowded. If anything there needs to be extended service, not reduced. Many people who dont live near the metro or who have disabilities rely on these routes to live their lives. Shame on WMATA for even considering this
