The reason I love where I live so much is b/c I am so engulfed in nature and the community respects that nature. I grew up in city, I moved away for a reason, pls keep this aes untouched. You don't get back the nature you destroy no matter how much you spend on it.

Bull Creek is spring fed and a jewel in Austin we need to protect. I moved here because of the beautiful green space and if this goes away, I will move somewhere else.

The area of Northwest Austin where this proposed hotel would be developed is one of the most beautiful parts of our city. As more and more people move in, Austin is losing some of its greatest charm, which is not its music or its food but rather its ample spaces for enjoying outdoor activities like hiking in wild spaces. This beautiful blend of wild spaces and developed places is what made me and many others choose to call Austin home. If you allow the development of this hotel it will not only detract from the aesthetic value of the area and harm the environment; it will also set a bad precedent for continuing this trend and ultimately steal the soul of the city.

It would be really great if developers stopped coming into Austin with zero knowledge of the city's culture and geography and trying to force developments that are just terrible ideas. Stop being a goddamn bull in a china shop, developers. Listen to the people who actually live here.

I have been living on Yaupon Dr since 2003 and this project makes no sense in a quiet laid back neighborhood, not to mention damage to the sensitive bull creek area. This needs to stop.

With the high-volume traffic on this narrow, multiple low water crossing roadway, the idea of any hotel is crazy. The developer's position that the traffic is not his problem is telling.
