Why would the City Council approve a commercial development such as this one, located in a highly residential/rural setting, which includes the plans to serve alcohol and have loud, live music being played, right across the street from a children's day care center that's been there for many years, located right next too a beautiful creek (Bull) that the public enjoys with its hiking trails & fishing, on an already way, way over-crowded and many times traffic-jammed packed Old Spicewood Springs Road, where emergency vehicles would have a very difficult/impossible time reaching (in the event of traffic jams and/or the low-water level bridges being closed on Old Spicewood Road during flash flooding), which would include on-site septic storage tanks (since there are no City of Austin wastewater services available to support this large of a property) and said septic storage tanks then run the risk of leaky totally untreated wastewater into the above mentioned beautiful Bull Creek? Why would our City Council approve such a bad idea??? Lets encourage them not to. This is only ONE *possible* winner in this...the developer that purchased the land. But what if the hotel does not survive financially (because hotel patrons will likely only stay there one time, given the headaches with location and the bad traffic issues and all in that area), then we'll have a foreclosed upon eye-sore sitting there, further destroying this beautiful land and property. Why would the City Council EVER consider approving something like this???? The answer is THEY SHOULD NOT.

Really concerned about build a holtel in particular the development will make huge impact to the nature preservation in Bull Creek, I would agree if we make this as a park so all Austin folks can enjoy the nature of Bull Creek.

This property is not suitable for development. It serves as an overflow for Bull Creek during flooding and any redirecting of the water on this property will just cause problems to someone else, either upstream of downstream.
