Lots of areas outside Austin to build hotels. Keep out of Spicewood and Austin too please.

Its really not a suitable place for a hotel. Small road that is too crowded already. Environmentally sensitive. No sewage. Opposite Pre-K country school. Not close to any amenities, shops or restaurants for guests. It does not make any sense.

I drive this road on occasion because it's a lovely drive. Please don't allow building on it; it will ruin the area. Leave as is or make a park there!

DO NOT ALLOW A HOTEL ON THIS ROAD!

This road is not capable of handling increased traffic from a hotel. Aside from the traffic increase, the road also floods several times a year. This is a completely unreasonable location.

Please do not let this developer ruin this beautiful area. There are so many reasons that this is a terrible idea, whether you look at it from the perspective of the environment (water quality), safety (both for those in the neighborhood and those staying at the hotel - flooding, traffic, emergency vehicle access), or just simply from the perspective that this is a beautiful area that warrants preserving. I can't see any reason that this makes sense for anyone other than the developer. He doesn't even have the future customers' interests in mind (he doesn't care if they drown because they don't understand the risks of the flooding in the area). Please stop him from implementing this terrible idea and ruining this environment for all of our sakes.

This is a really bad plan for every one except the developer. He'll make his profits and leave the area with the headaches from then on. If this happens we will be looking for the money trail because again this makes no sense for anyone in the area.

Why is the Austin City Council even considering this hotel/commercial development? This proposed hotel does "nothing" to IMPROVE our city. The hotel and hotel space is not needed in this part of town. This will not create a large amount of jobs so it is not as if we must have a new venture to employ Austinites, these few jobs are not needed. Should our elected officials approve this they will simply be giving away more of our greenbelt/park land, they will create more water quality issues within an environmentally sensitive area that we already have problems with, they will create more traffic in an area that is already over-crowded and they will not be serving the people that elected them into office. By giving this development any consideration our council and mayor are showing that their interest lie exclusively with 'big money' developers. The city forefathers would be disgusted with how little regard our elected officials have for protecting Austin, its citizens and our quality of life.

Don't build hotel. Save our bull creek and 360 ! Protest no more building. Keep our preserve land areas. Stop building. Go away

Just No!

FM 360 cannot handle the traffic that would result from adding more vehicle trips to the system.

This is an environmentally sensitive region, a hotel development will endanger the region.

This will further the unpleasant taste Austinites have in their mouths concerning the lack of responsibility and accountability Austin City council has demonstrated for traffic management and responsible infrastructure growth. Spicewood Springs is already a dangerous and congested road and it dumps onto a road (360) all of Austin would agree is a daily/hourly traffic nightmare (again, POOR planning on the party of City Council for decades) Do the right thing here and do not allow this project to move forward. Enough is enough. You want to preserve the environment and havenot made ANY improvements to 360 in decades, and yet, you are considering a Hotel built on a property the feeds into Bull Creek? Please explain the reasoning behind that thought process?

Remember the Desired Development Zone and the Drinking Water Protection Zone? It's critical to all citizens of Austin that we protect the environmentally sensitive western watersheds so there is clean water for drinking and recreation.

Please do not allow this hotel to be built on a highly trafficked 360.

As much as I'd love to stay in a beautiful setting such as that, I don't think that the development needed to make it work will affect the land positively. The creek, the two lanes, the springs, and the traffic coalesce into changing the very landscape you wanted to view in your hotel. I suggest go up and overlook it from on top of the hill on the south side. It wouldn't affect traffic, the creek or the land. 8300 Pilgrims Pl.

This property is inappropriate for that size and type of construction. It would be damaging to our sensitive environment along Bull Creek Watershed.
